BOSTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS Basic Information ● Bargaining Unit: 5 members ● Contract Period: Four-year duration – September 1, 2016 to August 31, 2020 (one year and three years) ● Wages: ○ 2% in December 2016 (FY17) ○ 2% in December 2017 (FY18) ○ 2% in December 2018 (FY19) ○ 2% in December 2019 (FY20) ● Total Overall Cost of Contract: $55,794.00 3
BOSTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS Highlights ● The overall contract is working well: We have an effective working relationship with this group, which resulted in minimum changes to the overall contract language. ● Additional Benefits To Membership: This contract gives Storekeepers two additional steps at a 1% increase which provides for financial growth and recognition of longevity within the bargaining unit. Members will now also be entitled to paid paternity leave consistent with our BPS and City of Boston employees. 4
