Background to ONIX for Preservation Holdings Looking for a standard way in which data could be • delivered/supplied by the keepers (rather than differently formatted spreadsheets) ONIX for Serials (SOH) known to us because of AIMSS • project (data supply from Serials Solutions to EDINA) Specific preservation requirements included: • preservation status; identification of gaps in holdings; authority/source of holdings information (archiving agency is not a subscriber) EDItEUR contacted and this led to establishment of a • Working Group comprising key parties including representatives from the Keeper organisations
