  • BPC convened election officials from 25 of the largest counties in

the country to examine issues such as long lines and voting technology.

  • From Miami-Dade to Denver to San Diego, the jurisdictions involved

are home to roughly 50 million people or 16 percent of the U.S. population.

  • BPC also partnered with several counties to collect detailed data on

voting times. The jurisdictions included Broward, Orange, and Seminole counties in Florida, Montgomery County, Maryland, and Richmond City, Virginia.

  • In 2016, BPC will also engage in an expanded nation-wide

election day data collection effort in jurisdictions with 20 million people.
