  2. Who are we?  We are a law student association founded as a non-profit organization (NGO). Our mission is to facilitate the access of law students from Bucharest and all around the country to information that will help them the develop on an academic level and at the same time , to get a grasp on practical knowledge .   4. NILS SUMMER SCHOOL 2015 EDITION Human Rights in International Commercial Relationships Period : 4-11 July 2016 Bringing law students all over the world together

  5. How it went ? 50 students from 15 countries have participated in the event , 15-20 of them being Romanian . The rest of the attendants came from India, Iran, Taiwan, Jordania, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Germany, Spain, Holland, Ukraine, Pakistan and other NILS partner states . Main academic activities :  The first conference was Margaret Wachenfeld’s , former consultant on human rights at UNICEF, presenting the founding principles of business and humanitarian law of ONU;  The conference held by C ă t ă lin Radb âţă , lawyer at NNDKP, on the topic of the possibility of introducing human rights clauses in international commercial contracts;  Marian Dinu, managing partner at DLA Piper has debated on the subject of introduction in Wr 2.0;  The conference on arbitration held by the expert Tudor Chiuariu, followed by a conference on commercial arbitration presented by Andreea Simulescu;  The workshop conducted by Ionu ț Gâlea, general director of the legal department of the Foreign Affairs Ministry;  The conference held by Ligia Popescu, lawyer at Wolftheiss on the topic : “ The Transatlantic Trade Investment Partnership ”;  Oana Salomia, former TAIEX consultant of the EU conducted a presentation on the way in which UE treaties protect human rights .

  6. The event had the goal to bring together in Bucharest law students from all over the world in order to attend a series of tailored academic courses and social activities. This project was a first for the association in terms of scale, having taken place in the Law Faculty of the University of Bucharest .
