We are a law student association founded as a non-profit organization (NGO). Our mission is to facilitate the access of law students from Bucharest and all around the country to information that will help them the develop on an academic level and at the same time , to get a grasp on practical knowledge . 4 years of activity over 100 active members members in the international board 2 international projects law conferences , seminars and workshops

SOME OF NILS PROJECTS 2016-2017
iDrept We managed to negotiate with Wolters Kluwer Romania an accessible price for a legislative program which is currently used by over 50 law students . Business Law Conference We were the organizers of the conference’s tenth edition which took place in 2016, together with the Publishing house C.H.Beck, SCA Piperea & Associates and the Law Faculty of Bucharest University. International workshops We already have planned a number of workshops that are going to have as speakers teachers from reputed overseas universities. The College Project This year we are going to
- rganize a series of
projects directed at students who are enrolled in the French College.

Bringing law students all over the world together
How it went ?
50 students from 15 countries have participated in the event , 15-20 of them being Romanian . The rest of the attendants came from India, Iran, Taiwan, Jordania, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Germany, Spain, Holland, Ukraine, Pakistan and other NILS partner states .
- The first conference was Margaret Wachenfeld’s, former consultant on human rights at UNICEF,
presenting the founding principles of business and humanitarian law of ONU;
- The conference held by Cătălin Radbâţă, lawyer at NNDKP, on the topic of the possibility of
introducing human rights clauses in international commercial contracts;
- Marian Dinu, managing partner at DLA Piper has debated on the subject of introduction in Wr 2.0;
- The conference on arbitration held by the expert Tudor Chiuariu, followed by a conference on
commercial arbitration presented by Andreea Simulescu;
- The workshop conducted by Ionuț Gâlea, general director of the legal department of the Foreign
Affairs Ministry;
- The conference held by Ligia Popescu, lawyer at Wolftheiss on the topic : “ The Transatlantic
Trade Investment Partnership”;
- Oana Salomia, former TAIEX consultant of the EU conducted a presentation on the way in which
UE treaties protect human rights .
Main academic activities :
The event had the goal to bring together in Bucharest law students from all over the world in order to attend a series of tailored academic courses and social activities. This project was a first for the association in terms of scale, having taken place in the Law Faculty of the University of Bucharest .
