CLM (Canaan Land Ministries)

  • ----------PRAYER SUPPORT -----------

Claudio & Daniele Maria Pablo Israel New care-givers (Claudio and Daniele) need prayer as they have recently moved to be permanent care-givers at CLM (they have been there since May 2017). Maria, Pablo & Israel arrived to CLM in June/ July. Maria is 12 and mistreated by an older boy on the streets. Pablo & Israel are brothers sent to beg

  • n the streets by their father.

Building project for maintaining the family group system at CLM. Points of Interest: 1. Due to the increased organization within the government (good & bad) regulations are being more heavily enforced causing a financial burden on CLM 2. Donations to CLM have been decreasing every year. Now there is no more money in the Reserve Fund the Missionary Committee had for CLM. 3. It takes only $18,500 USD per month to operate. THEY NEED PEOPLE WHO ARE WILLING TO SACRIFICE TO GIVE MONTHLY TO THE ACCF or ACC-MBC (EAR MARKED FOR CLM). “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world”

Prayer is always needed!...But individual points of support... 1. One brother who would be willing to commit for a year and have “handy-man” skills. 2. Financial support - they have reached maximum capacity of kids (11 children) and are in need of expanding and building other residents. Contact them @:

Zambia (Orphanage & School)

Website: https://www.lifesongfororphans.ca/ LIFESONG HARMONY SCHOOL has been officially recognized by the Zambian Government as a private Christian School - the next step is applying for DEBS so that they can be an exam center for students (hopefully have by 2018)

Zambia Team

A home a was purchased for the vulnerable girls. Renovations were done in August.

Their MISSION: Lifesong for Orphans (Canada) was established in 2014 and is a registered charitable organization in Canada that oversees the

  • perations of the Lifesong Harmony School and the Lifesong Girls’

Home in Kitwe, Zambia. We are located in Cambridge, ON and we have representatives in Windsor, ON as well as in Ohio and Arizona. All of our initiatives and events in North America serve to raise awareness and funds for the children that attend our school. They currently have a shortage of child sponsorships and if you feel led to pay $35 a month so that a child can eat two meals a day and receive a high quality education. Go to their sponsor page at their website.

That's approx ¼ of the price of a pumpkin spice latte per day or a gym membership per month

Prayer is always needed!...But individual points of support...

1. If you feel called to become a permanent care-giver, prayerfully consider; the turnover is very high for care-givers because of the stress and emotional strain of caring for the children. 2. Sponsor a Child! @ http://accmbc.org/donations/online- donation-form/?&mission=4

North Caucasus

(Argentinian Sourced mission) Purpose:

  • Perform an ethnography in one of their cities

(which they do not mention for security reasons)

  • Perceive service opportunities for Latino

missionaries. Goals:

  • To determine the worldview of the inhabitants
  • Apply the findings to the necessary training of

missionaries who intend to go

  • Consider who would qualify to be accepted by local

people, in terms of cultural behavior.

  • Perceive the spiritual and other needs of the people

and which will be the open venues to introduce the message of Salvation.

  • Determine specific needs to be met
  • To perceive riches of different nature in the

environment and in the inhabitants

  • To perceive the difficulties to overcome

This mission has been started by missionaries from Argentina seeking to start a ministry in Western Russia

Paraguay

The Church is growing in numbers, and the building is also going up,

  • slowly. They have approximately 120 -150 people, including children,

teens and people who come only on Sundays. They have formed a core group and do most things through team effort.

Prayer Points

  • Prison ministry: they happen twice a month and

the visits are documented and turned into government (the church was assigned as the main spiritual/ rehabilitation group).

  • Church Construction: Construction at church
  • continues. They finished the roof at church, but need…
  • $3000 for windows and doors.

&

  • They need to level out the dirt floor.
  • Add electricity.
  • Build our classrooms in the back.

Each of these phases of the project could be around

$20,000

MAAME KROBO CHURCH, EASTERN REGION. “The repair work on the Maame Krobo Church building has been duly

  • completed. The whole roof

was brought down and a new one constructed. We thank the Lord for His

  • faithfulness. “

MANKESSIM CHURCH, CENTRAL REGION. “There was a missionary visit by a team of 3 missionaries to this new church in the Central Region.” FAITH HOSPITAL ATICO, ACCRA. “Though payments were expected from the National Health Insurance Service, this has not yet materialized. The new Government has indicated positive intentions

  • n clearing all outstanding debt between June - July 2017. We are prayerfully expecting the fulfillment
  • f this promise which will enable us to settle our indebtedness to the pharmaceutical houses we deal
  • with. We thank God for the support offered the Hospital in April 2017. It has helped to keep the Hospital
  • afloat. Thank you.”

PROPOSED HOSPITAL AT ANYAH, ACCRA. “Work on this project is yet to start. Some payments have been made to the land owners. We are praying that the project will take off in June/July

  • 2017. “

MATAHEKO CHURCH, ACCRA. “We give praise and thanks to God that the work on the roof of the Church building has been duly completed and all payments effected.” PRAMPRAM CHURCH, GREATER ACCRA REGION. “Because of the destruction of the Church building at Prampram after a rainstorm, a temporary structure has been put up for church services at the site. Church attendance has remained normal by the grace of God.” MANDELA (STC) CHURCH, ACCRA. “We have continued to pay the landowners of the Mandela Church land as and when funds are available. Fortunately the landowners have been quite understanding about the payment regime. Thanks be to God.”

Ghana, Africa (School and Church ministries)

THE SCHOOL COMPLEX, ACCRA. “A wall for keeping cows out of the recess area was proposed. When work started in April, there were concerns from residents in the school's vicinity that the proposed wall would obstruct the flow

  • f rainwater after

rainstorms which would flood their

  • homes. There were

extensive meetings and discussions with

  • fficials of the Local

Authority and the

  • residents. It was then

agreed that the design

  • f the proposed wall

should be altered. Vents were to be placed at the bottom of the wall to allow for easy rainwater flow. Construction work on the wall has thus been completed.”

Every fellowship must be a Sending Church!

Whether overseas, across the state or in your current community, the Lord expects His Church to continue reaching

  • ut to the world. Perhaps every Church fellowship should pray

about sending 10% of their membership every year to the mission field: internationally, a new church plant or some

  • ther ministry. The sending church will offer prayer and

material support and be the strength and lifeline needed. If initial and immediate response is "if we send out our people, we'll have no one left", we probably have the wrong

  • perspective. Jesus sent out every one of His remaining

disciples (Matt 28). To pursue, please contact Thad Lumsden for more information @ thad.lumsden@gmail.com

“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are

  • few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to

send out workers into his harvest field. Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves. Do not take a purse or bag or sandals; and do not greet anyone on the road.” ~ Jesus Christ (a.k.a. Creator of the Universe,

God, Elohim, Adonai, Jehovah, etc)
