Introduction • In June 2014, the Koninklijk Actuarieel Genootschap decided on the establishment of the Kring Internationaal, because of the increasing interest of her members • The Kring Internationaal is connected with the Commissie Internationaal through Ron Hersmis • The coordinators of the Kring Internationaal are: – Ad Kok – Caroline Tuin – Ilemele Venetiaan – Marc Simon Visser – Pelle van Vlijmen – Rob van Leeuwen – Stephan Buckens • Monique Schuilenburg is the support from the Koninklijk Actuarieel Genootschap

Task of the Kring Internationaal • To contribute to the development of the actuarial professional practice and continuity of the technical implementation. • The Kring Internationaal will be monitoring the current and relevant professional international developments and the interaction with the Committee International. • The Kring Internationaal is intended for members who are interested in international developments, for Dutch members abroad and for foreign actuarial professionals working in The Netherlands.

  10. Task of the Kring Internationaal 2 • The Kring Internationaal will organize attractive meetings consisting of two parts: 1. An informative part in which the different aspects of International actuarial activities will be discussed, presented by a member of the Committee International (PE); 2. A networking opportunity for members and foreign actuarial professionals to meet and exchange experiences. • Our goal is an increasing number of members joining our meetings during the next years.

  19. Facts • Actuarial Association of Europe (AAE) established in 1978 • Purpose: To provide advice and opinions to the various organisations of the European Union • AAE  37 member associations in 35 European countries  representing over 20,000 actuaries. 19
