What is the Charter?

  • First developed in partnership with the Regional

Diversity Roundtable (RDR) and the Peel Newcomer Strategy Group (PNSG)

  • Launched in April 2013, the Charter is a living

document created to foster inclusiveness and equity in Peel

  • First municipal-level initiative of its kind in Canada
  • The Charter supports the implementation of existing

national and provincial legislation at a local level
