Purpose of Bond Offering On April 27, 2009, the members of The Church of the Redeemer Baptist approved a resolution authorizing its’ officers to enter into a financing transaction that would enable the Church to construct a new worship facility. On January 13, 2010, the Church officers approved a resolution authorizing the issuance of first mortgage bonds through Royal Securities in an amount not to exceed $5,100,000. The Church of the Redeemer Baptist is offering the Bonds for the purpose of constructing a new worship center on the property located at 2500 Reed Street, Philadelphia, PA 19146. The Worship Center will be a three-story building, with approximately 35,000 square feet, consisting of a main sanctuary, administrative offices, a fellowship hall, kitchen and nursery.

  3. The Church of The Redeemer Goals - To Build a 35,000 square foot church at a cost not to exceed $5,100,000 - To defer a portion of Brokerage Fees, Redeemer has committed to selling at least $1,277,000 out of the $5,100,000 Bonds to the churches sphere of influence. This would provide our members an investment opportunity and would save the church additional Brokerage Fees. - To have our congregation to serve as ambassadors and share our Bond Offering information with family members and associates that are looking for long term investment opportunities.

  4. About the Bonds - First Mortgage Bonds will be fully registered in book – entry form in The Depository Trust Company System. - Bond issuance to begin on March 20, 2010 and are sold in $1,000 increments. - Each Bond represents the right of the bondholder to be paid the face amount or principal balance thereof plus accrued interest and to participate in the collateral in the event of default.

Type of First Mortgage Bonds - Simple Interest Bonds (Income Bonds) - $1,350,000 are available for sale - Interest paid semi-annually - Principal paid at maturity date - Compounding Interest Bonds (Growth Bonds) - $3,750,000 are available for sale - Interest compounded semi-annually and paid at maturity date along with principal

Simple Interest Bonds – Pay Out Examples: - $1,000, 3 year, 6% Maturity Bond - would yield $30 every 6 months for a total of $180 over 3 years - Principal payment of $1,000 will be paid on Bond Maturity date - $1,000, 9 year, 8% Maturity Bond - would yield $40 every 6 months for a total of $720 over 9 years - Principal payment of $1,000 will be paid on Bond Maturity date - $1,000, 13 year, 8% Maturity Bond - would yield $40 every 6 months for a total of $1,040 over 13 years - Principal payment of $1,000 will be paid on Bond Maturity date
