• Pre-2004: Junaid (and the others) were born J at

an early age Junaid was involved in Naat (Sufi/ Spiritual) recitations at school. Ahsan was born to a Music “Ustad” or teacher family – he bought his first guitar after selling his bicycle, Fahad was in tandem honing his music skills

• 2004-07: Band formed between friends, 3 stay

(Junaid, Ahsan, Fahad) 2 left (Simon & Farhan), did gigs all over Pakistan, concerts, film festivals and VIP events (played in front of ex-President Musharraf at Kara Film Festival in 2006)

• 2007: Armaan released, precursor to establishing

Siege as a mainstream band and their first album. Started playing in concerts nationwide

• 2008: Armaan awarded Best Song of the Year at

TMA (Music Awards)

• 2009: Faaslay released, triple nomination at MTV

Music Awards

• 2010-11: Police single and debut album with same

name released, mix of various genres, Pop-Rock, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Sufi and Semi-Classical. Received prestigious Lux Style Awards. Police was aired on almost every TV and Radio channel on Pakistan signaling it’s mass appeal including MTC, Aag TV,

• ATV. Performed at prestigious events like Style

Awards (Indus TV), Lux (2011) and Bridge Making Awards in Oslo

• 2012: Maula Jatt (MJ) released with

Pepsi Smash Sessions, (Tub hi aa ray in the works) – MJ has inspired several generations and even an international audience due soulful beat, moving lyrics, 15,000 hits in 72 hours – it has the potential to turn into a “Gangnam Style” with an enhanced video and music tweaks

• 2013 beginning: Launched Vairay Avar

(written by famous Sufi poet Shah Hussain) with prominent Sufi singer Sanam Marvi, drawing praise from critics for impeccable lyrics, music and video concept & production

• Future: Siege is focusing on a Sufi

themed album featuring 10 tracks. Imran Kazmi, Strategist and Music Marketing Guru joined Siege in 2013 and the band is planning a star spangled future starting with a MidEast tour
