Concussion

▪ Certification of training required ▪ Any player who exhibits signs of a concussion, MUST leave the field & may

not re-enter

“Times Two Policy”

▪ 2 or more adults must be present at any team function (games, practices,

parties, etc)

▪ Failure to abide by this policy negates liability coverage

Safety is First Priority

  • Lightning Detection System

▪ Riverview & Phillips Park ▪ If lightning detected nearby --- 1 long, loud blast. ▪ Clear the field immediately & go to a safe location (not under trees or

standing in the parking lot).

▪ The system will sound only once – does not keep going off ▪ All clear (30 minutes) - the system will send off 3 long, loud blasts similar to

the first one. At that time, people are allowed back onto the fields.

  • Guidelines if there is no system at your park (don’t assume it is

working)

▪ Leave the field immediately at the first sighting of thunder or lightning ▪ No one may be on the field until 30 minutes after the last time lightning was

seen OR thunder was heard.
