undermining the level of ambition of the Nagoya Protocol commitments.
- Mexico delivered a statement in the name of 12 countries to preserve the integrity and legitimacy of
the SDGs and preserve the Aichi Biodiversity targets.
- The full application of goals and targets on biodiversity relies on the revitalized Global Partnership to
mobilize all available resources. The Addis Ababa Action Agenda will have an important role to this aim.
