  2. Why Do We Need Officials ? Officials are an ESSENTIAL part of the game. • Ensure that the athletes and participants are abiding by the rules and playing in the spirit of the game • Supervise our games • Ensure player safety • Ensure fair play • Provide Integrity of the Score

  3. Benefits of Officiating • Give something back to the sport • Stay involved in sport(s) • Fitness and Health • Work with youth • Social Interaction • Financial Reward • Opportunity for travel • Learn how to make fair and firm decisions and to accept criticism.

You Make the Call • Register with the Association • Pay dues • Complete training • Pass the NFHS Rules Test • Work Hard You have been making the calls from the sidelines for years, now is the time to start doing it for real.
