- Amended Project: Project still fits the narrative of the original response – will provide a ‘loop’ for
bicycles and pedestrians as an exercise route from one city to the other; will separate these modes from cars, where no such separation currently exists (although it now completes the link into existing city sidewalks at either end)

- Amended Project: Project still fits the narrative of the original response – the project is supported
by the Columbus Junction/City Comprehensive Plan, through its identification of existing bike/ped weaknesses in the two communities, and the opportunity of creating trails to serve the residents

- Amended Project: Project still fits the narrative of the original response – active bicycle clubs are
present in the area, and the new trail will provide an alternative travel location for them; also, convenient parking is already present at the school and swimming pool
- In 2015, with TAC-scored portion alone, Louisa County ranked second highest, 3 points behind West
Burlington, and 1 point ahead of Fort Madison
