Used to run a year-long after school chess program in two large urban school districts. The program was delivered primarily by graduate and undergraduate psychology students with little or no prior chess training.

▪ Chess skills are broken down into easily mastered bits, practiced until strong & then integrated into their games. ▪ The game format makes them fun. ▪ Skill builders get more difficult as the player gets better, so they are always being challenged. ▪ The games are as easy for the teacher to learn as they are for the student.
