Conclusions Task sharing in German EPD-Programme: Insulation material

  • „Cradle to Gate“ data for production stage only leaves some

additional work for designers, with a gap in transport data. Future work to foster EPD use in building sector

  • Declared unit CED [MJ/kg] seems not to be well adjusted to

designer‘s functional units

  • Extension of EPD information (values, equations) to needs of

consecutive life cycle stages or design steps

  • Development of appropriate construction process models

together with sophisticated product designers
