Project Update – Stage 2 Construction Contractor
- Multiplex and John Holland continuing to participate in competitive tender process.
- Weekly interactives are taking place at the tenderers request.
- Tender process will conclude in October 2019.
- Contract award is expected in December 2019.

Project Update – Stage 1 Demolition
- Total demolition is approximately 80% complete
- Demolition is near competition at the former Waratahs, Roosters and Sheridan buildings
- Demolition at the Indoor Cricket Centre commenced in early September with internal strip out.
Hard demolition works to commence from early October
- Stormwater diversion works to take place later this year to relocate a Sydney Water asset in
readiness for construction
- The site continues to be cleared of residual structures and footings
Project Update – Stage 1 Demolition Community Complaints
- One complaint received about high levels of dust on 7
September during weekend of wind gusts in excess of 100km/h.
- Lendlease implemented the following mitigation
measures to supress the dust:
- A water ring main was installed around site to
provide water points to manage dust suppression around site
- Static water sprinklers were set at strategic
locations to suppress dust at each workface
- Specific demolition plant was fitted with pipework
designed to disperse water at the machine attachment location directly at the point of demolition
- Water tankers were also utilised on site to
manage haul roads and general areas which are not currently under demolition
