The gate can only be Accessed by foot. Small electronic devices such as laptops and tablets (revolutionary in 2017). Swiss-Gate is like an airport, has the same rules and regulations, only much stricter and a lot more tedious. Meaning logos for Swiss-Gate, Identifjcation cards and a border pass, need to made. As well as a logo for the future Switzerland (Swiss Alliance) and a series of maps and brochure travel guides for Swiss Alliance.

In the 1964, Soviet Astronomer Nikolai Kardeshev proposed a hypothetical theory that measures a civilisations level of technological advancement. It is designed into three catagories based on the amount of energy a civilisation is able to use for communication. In the year 7017, where Swiss Alliance is set, the world has reached Type I by this point, slightly later than expected considering in 2017, it had begun based on the level of technology the world had, and how connected the internet allowed us to be.

Kardashev Scale

Type I Civilization - AKA Planetary Civilization - can store and use all od the energy which reaches its planet from its parent star, meaning civilization has become an increasingly connected, high-tech society. Type II and III are extremely advanced but not relevant for the era in which Swiss Alliance is based. Ways in which technology and civilisation has progressed in the 8th millenium. Civilisation has used technology to manipulate climate and natural disasters, but not abolish them. Transactions, personal information and all important documents etc is all under one platform, highly secure and extremely straight forward to use compared to the past. Transport, streets, population and accomodation has been improved.

Civilisation

Currency is mainly digital however there is still notes, and coins for ease of smaller transactions. Identifjcation is all on one device, as is transaction details, fraud is extremely diffjcult due to technology advancements. Technology is similar to day but more advanced, easier and cleaner, there are only a few companies competing as opposed to 2017 with hundreds. Vehicles are not as advanced as the public transport, beacuse there are fewer of them, however the vehicles that are there, are all electric powered.
