Teachers, parents, school administrators and experts from across the country together with state leaders provided input into the development of the standards.”

Administered in Spring of 2013 Scores have been released Significant drop in scores

Common Core Aligned 3-8 State Assessments

 The assessments in grades 3-8 were aligned

to the Common Core Learning Standards.

 As a result, the exams administered in April

2013 differed from previous state assessments.

 A decline in scores was expected by state

education officials.

 We must work together to deliver on the

promise of public education for all students.
