Over 30 years ago, Spirulina algae was called the “ food of the future” by the World Health Organization
A unique technology (patented in Russian Federation) of targeted enrichment of Spirulina by essential trace elements was developed. The technology is based on high bioaccumulation factor of Spirulina in respect to trace elements. The coefficient of accumulation varies from 50 to 500.
The technology allows to obtain a highly bioavailable source of trace elements like selenium, manganese, zinc, chromium, vanadium etc. 2X effect The obtained product combines the beneficial effects of trace elements and specific effects of Spirulina itself being useful for treatment of people or animals with trace element deficiencies .
Purpose of the project Production of natural substances rich in trace elements for dietary supplements and fortified foods in China
Solution Technology Optimization of creating stations for the cultivation of Spirulina biomass and its enrichment by the various trace elements in a semi-industrial conditions Distribution
