Outside Awards • Complete Outside Award Reply Form. ⚬ https://sfs.mit.edu/forms/outside-award-reply-form/ • Outside awards are used to replace your student contribution requirement before reducing your MIT scholarship. Scholarship Recipient • Checks should be made payable to Massachusetts Institute of Technology. • Include your MIT ID number when mailing your outside award check.

  5. MIT Technology Loan • < $3,400 No co-signer needed. • > $3,400 Credit worthy co-signer required. • Must be enrolled half time, make academic progress, and not default on prior education loans. • Minimum monthly payment is $50 & must be repaid within 10 years. • No interest until repayment begins, 7% interest afterward. • Repayment begins 9 months after graduation or withdrawal, but may be deferred while in graduate or professional school.

  6. Aid applicants must apply every academic year If your parents are separated or divorced, each parent will need to complete their own CSS Profile application. MIT's CSS code is 3514 Answer all supplemental questions specific to MIT.

  7. For the 2021–2022 application, you will need the following: • Your parents’ 2019 income tax returns or wage statements • Any other records of money earned • Bank statements • Records of investments • Records of untaxed income

  15. Flywire To access Flywire • Log into MITPAY • Find the Announcements "Welcome to MITPAY!" section on the main page • Scroll down until you find the Flywire section and botton.

  16. Sponsored Billing Students must submit the Student Acknowledgement Form in order for MIT to invoice your sponsor. You will need to work with your sponsor to make sure that all documentation has been submitted to us by the deadline. Sponsors must submit the Sponsor Billing Authorization Form and Sponsor Financial Agreement to our sponsored billing team.
