INTRODUCTION

We traveled to Abuja, Nigeria to assist with two research projects being conducted through the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria. We were fortunate to have a very diverse group with students from the school of pharmacy, social work, nursing and medicine. Coming from these different backgrounds allowed us to address different aspects of the research process and problem solve with the study participant in mind. We were able to benefit from what each discipline brings to the table and collaborate together to create surveys and other research tools encompassing multidisciplinary perspectives.
