The “Cut and Paste” Method • Studied other Mission Statements • Reviewed OUR Beliefs/Values, small groups work together to design a Mission Statement on Sentence Strips. • Each group cut the Mission Statements into “chunks,” i.e. meaningful words and phrases. • Reorganized to identified the common “chunks.” • Tried to use at least one “chunk” from each group’s statement in a Mission Statement.
