Annual Chapter Standards

NEW IN 2017 - Annual Chapter Standards

  • Baseline in which we measure our chapter’s sustainability
  • Chapters not performing according to standards will work with their

District Advisor, District Representative, and HQ Chapter Relations Manager to develop a formal plan for sustainability

  • Not meeting chapter standards annually could result in the loss of a

chapter’s allotment

Annual Chapter Standards

  • Chapters must be incorporated with 15 members and maintain 15 members
  • Chapter must submit their financials and proof of Independent Review to

HQ utilizing recommended template

  • Chapter must put forth a Slate of Officers to their District Representatives,

District Advisors, and IIA HQ by May 1

st identifying the four key officers of

President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer

  • Chapter must deliver quality education to its members
  • Chapter must sign Governance Attestation
  • Chapter must file taxes

Slates Now Due May 1st Annually

  • Flexibility to submit by June 1st for 2017/2018
  • In moving up the due date, our hope is to elevate the onboarding

experience for our leaders thru enhanced communication

  • Allows a full month before the start of the term where incoming board

members can access tools and resources through the IIA

DR Assessments

  • May & November annually
  • We encourage your feedback!!
  • Over 130 submissions in November
  • Assessment goes to Chapter President
