Great discovery! Congratulations!
Now it is clear that we can do science with GW, if we do it right.

The detector is constructed underground Kamioka. Reduction of seismic noise (to approximately 1/100). Very high sensitivity. Cryogenic mirrors will be used to reduce the thermal noise (in the 2nd phase).

The scientific output will be maximized by the global network. KAGRA wants to join the worldwide network of gravitational wave detection / astronomy as soon as it reaches to a high sensitivity. MOU between LSC/Virgo/KAGRA.
