Feel free to add other important or unique features for your state. TITLE SLIDE: Title your 1 st slide with the name of the state and it’s nickname. Ex: Welcome to Florida “ The Sunshine State” include your names, Include an image of the state as it appear s on the map, and an image of it’s physical features. ____/_3__pts SLIDE 2: Title it : LOCATION – Describes where a place is on Earth Include absolute location of the state ’ s capital, and the relative location with map images for both. _________pts SLIDE 3: . Title it: REGION- Places that have similar features. IncludeHow is the area similar to other areas? What region is your state located in? Include the physical and cultural feature that makes your state a part of that regions, such as mountains, climate zones, Great Lakes, religion, language , foods etc. Images for both. SLIDE 4: Title it Movement – Explains how people, products, and information travel. Is there a mass transit system ( subway, trains, trolleys)? How do people travel in this state Ex: Many people in New York travel by subway. How are goods shipped? Is the state near lake or ocean? Are people migrating t this state. How do Ideas travel? SLIDE 5 : Title it PLACE – Describes what area looks like. Include unique human ( man-made) features and an image of the most notable feature ( worlds largest mall, amusement park, tallest building industry, monuments etc) Include its special physical features( made by nature) national park, such as Mountains, Volcanoes, Geysers, desert, waterfall, forests etc.

Slide 6 : Title it Human Environment interaction – Explains how we affect the environment and the environment affects us. How has your state’s environment been modified? What do people do to adapt to the environment’s climate, natural disasters, polluted water etc? In what ways do people depend on the environment? Include an image for each modify and adapt. Slide 7: More Human Characteristics of Your State. Include date established, population, ethnic groups, major industries, and largest employer. Include 2 pictures Slide 8: More Physical Characteristics Include the state bird, flower, tree and animal. Also state the noted landform of you state Slide 9 Attractions and other features . Anything unique about your state not previously mentioned. Include 2 pictures. Slide 10 Bibliography – An alphabetical list of all sources used.
