Remote Learning Plan and the IEP

Remote Learning Plan (RLP) This document describes the means by which the IEP will be provided in emergency conditions, as described in Section 46392, in which instruction or services, or both, cannot be provided to the pupil at either the school or in person for more than 10 school days. In accordance to SB 98 §43503 (b)(4)

review the last agreed upon offer of FAPE

Pasadena Unified School District is committed to servicing our students to the greatest extent possible given school closure challenges. SB 98, recently enacted as emergency legislation requiring school districts to address how they will implement various IEP components under “emergency conditions.” A prior Written Notice will be sent out to each Special Education student because we know that school closures will be for more than 10 days.

entities regarding evaluation methods in order to address child find responsibilities.
- Many Triennial evaluations cannot be completed
- Some Triennials can be completed through a “Record Review.”

Safety is PRIORITY. We will continue to work diligently with all agencies to return to school as soon as we are allowed. We have developed plans so that we can maintain social distance and wear all the PPE in the event conditions change.
