Synchronous Learning

Asynchronous learning is a term that describes forms of education, instruction, and learning that do not occur in the same place or at the same time.

What if Zoom Stops Working?

Scenario 1: The teacher disappears from Zoom. 1. Tell your parent. 2. Stay signed into Zoom for 5 minutes. This will give the teacher time to log back in. 3. Log off and begin daily assignments. Log back in at the next scheduled Zoom time. Scenario 2: The student gets logged out of Zoom. 1. Try to log back into Zoom. 2. Check your wifi connection. 3. Restart your computer. 4. Begin your daily assignments. Log back in at the next scheduled Zoom time.

Village’s Site Goals

During the 2020-2021 school year the percentage

  • f students meeting or exceeding standards will

increase by 5% or more on TRUSD benchmark assessments. English Learners will show a 5% increase in the number of students progressing at least one level

  • n the ELPAC assessment.

By focusing on school culture and climate as related to attendance, school-wide behavior systems, and social-emotional learning, Village K-8 School will develop and sustain a safe and welcoming learning environment for all students.
