Local Maintenance Provider REGA ENGINEERING is the Local Maintenance Provider (LMP) for Romania for the Program Second Line of Defense (SLD) of US Department of Energy (DOE)–National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). In close cooperation with the partner states, the SLD program installs radiation detection systems at land border crossings, airports and maritime ports. Assistance service is administrated by the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). As a Local Maintenance Provider (LMP) REGA company is responsible for the preventive maintenance, diagnosis and repair of the detection systems.
