Our target customers are anybody between the age of 7-15.

We chose this age range because you should be able to grasp the concept of the game by age 7 and by age 15 you will have played it so much that you will get tired of it.

As a group we thought this game would make the most sense with the given time frame and materials.

We chose to make “Skee- Bounce” because it was simple, yet difficult at the same time.

◤ Conceptual Design

  • Our original design consisted of a

slingshot with a rubber band, a 5- holed box, and a little ramp to bring the balls back to you.

  • We were originally going to make

5 holes for the targets and use cardboard for the actual box.

  • The base and ramp were going to

be made out of wood.

  • The slinger was either going to be

bought or 3D printed. If it was 3D printed, we would get the rubber bands from the workshop.

  • 1 group member bought 2 packs
  • f 6 ping-pong balls.

◤ Actual Design

  • For the sake of our game

actually being fun (and multiple trial-and-errors), we decided to throw out the slingshot idea.

  • Instead of 5 holes, we cut 8

holes of different sizes which would count as various amounts

  • f points.
  • The box ended up being made
  • ut of wood instead of cardboard

for aesthetics. We also added a net to keep the balls in play

  • Everything else was relatively

the same as the conceptual design.

◤ Customer Feedback and Results ▪

Dravin (Ahmad’s Roommate): “This game is actually very

  • addicting. I could play this all day”

Jack (Robert’s Roommate): “This game is actually better than I thought it’d be. I wish there was a time limit added so you could sort of rapid fire it but the way y’all have the game setup makes it harder.”

Will (Boone’s Roommate): “It is a really cool idea! I love arcade games are my favorite. I think it’s a good idea to incorporate them into a game, especially skee-ball”

Karsten (Kiernan’s Roommate): “I’ve played the classic skee ball but this game has an interesting twist. I think it is harder than skee ball which gives it more depth and playability.”

◤ Summary/Conclusions

  • We think our project in all was a success, despite the fact that we

had to alter our original design by taking out the slingshot all together.

  • Our toy ended up being pretty fun and we are in college, which

wasn’t even the target age.
