The Challenge

Can the Six Building Blocks provide a framework for how ACHs approach opioids and pain management? If so, how might this work?

Six Building Blocks and the Washington state Accountable Communities of Health?

slide-6
SLIDE 6

Some options

1. Individually, each ACH may consider using the 6BBs as a framework for their approach to opioids 2. One ACH (for example, OCH) could develop an approach to

  • pioids using the 6BBs and share with other ACHs

3. Some ACHs might form a group to collaborate on using the 6BBs – sharing approaches, sharing results 4. ACHs and HCA may suggest/recommend that all ACHs consider the 6BBs as a framework for their approach to opioids

Eager to help, limited in our consulting/coaching resources 1. Could help a few ACHs with individual coaching of clinics 2. Series of 6BB workshops and centralized support for groups of clinics 3. Leadership conference and workshop

▪ One or two day conference in Spring 2018 ▪ Attendees - clinical and QI leadership, administrators ▪ Briefing on 6BBs, workshops on how to implement ▪ Website with resources, online training

4. Tele-pain webinars on 6BBs during 2018 (already scheduled as part of Oregon PDO project)

How can our team assist with resources and support?
