Looks at about 50 GB areas across the District identified in earlier consultation.

Green Belt Assessment Result

 Accepts that most of these make a valid contribution to GB.  That includes most of Caterham area GB land.  Three Caterham Green Belt areas still at risk:

  • Site in Caterham Valley between

Longsdon Way and the by-pass;

  • Small site between Ninehams

Road and Coulsdon Common;

  • Queen’s Park area.

  • Housing need / demand forecasts.
  • Responses to earlier consultation.
  • Employment Sites, Traveller Sites,

New or Extended Settlements.

  • Detailed reports on Ecology, Landscape,

Sustainability, Green Belt.

  • Will take account of feedback from meeting.
  • All residents and businesses are urged to

submit responses by 30th December.

  • Comments on individual sites easiest online.
  • General comments easiest by email.
  • Final round of consultation by TDC expected

in autumn 2017.
