SIEPS is______________________  a non-profit, non-governmental association of industrialists and experts operating in the production and the export of strategic products in all the domains concerned by the Dual Use,  a network of dual use experts, multidisciplinary over various strategic sectors: aeronautics, aerospace, chemical, communication, cyber-technology, defense, electric and electronics, heavy and precision industry, nuclear power … and others,  the lobbying and international body of the FIEEC (French Electronics and Communication Industry Federation)

MISSION_____________________  Contribute to the world peace by participating in the fight against the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction  Promote the international trade of Dual Use Goods (DU) through fair competition by harmonizing laws and export control regulations  Promote a Responsible Trade

  4. MEMBERS____________________

  5. EXPERTISE___________________  Export Control of Dual-Use Goods, service and technology, with potential use in civil and military market  Privileged interface of national, regional and international authorities and institutions related to Dual Use  International cooperation with counterparts and similar organizations abroad  Representation of manufacturers towards regulatory authorities

SERVICE to MEMBERS__________  Regulatory monitoring and daily analysis of official national, EU and foreign publications (DU, embargoes, restrictive measures, counter-terrorism, human rights, customs, international trade)  Support to product classification and to export authorization application  Follow-up and support for licensing procedures processed by the national and foreign concerned administrations  Raising awareness and providing collective Dual Use trainings  Design compliance programs (ICP) and conduct self-assessment programs within the companies

ACTIVITIES for the benefit of MEMBERS_  Establishment and promotion of industrial positions in the field of DU (impact studies, new regulations)  Technical support to other professional federations and associations (MEDEF, ORGALIME, FIEEC, …)  Technical support to administrations in updating control lists and regulations  Preparation of an ICP (Internal Compliance Program) guideline for use in SMEs and large enterprises and support to certification

  8. INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION___  KOSTI Korea  CISTEC Japan  ESARDA  ORGALIME  BusinessEurope (Brussels), leading the Export Control Group  BOTTICELLI Project (int.al network)  Outreach P2P program of the European Commission

AWARENESS AND TRAINING _____  Training (DU, Military, Customs) at the member’s request  Academic courses (18 hours of courses and practical work) within the framework of the partnership agreement with the University of Paris 1 Panthéon / Sorbonne / Assas  Training at the University of Caen and Kobe within the framework of a cooperation France/Japan (INGEER)  CIFRE contract for a State PhD in 3 years  Initial contacts with Franco-Chinese universities (Central Beijing, IFCEN Taishan, ...)
