Training of AEs in HPPWD • Training of AEs at Nirman Bhawan shimla, JEs at Zonal Level will be started from July,2020. • It was agreed that Regular weekly One day Training for AEs at Nirman Bhawan and for JEs at Zonal level will be started from July,2020. • Organizational Structure at Zonal level will be 1.Executive Engineer(Training) 2. Assistant Engineer(Training) 3.Junior Engineer (Training) which will be decided by CEs at Zonal Level from among the staff available with them.In the beginning all Newly appointed JEs and JEs with Unsatisfactory Gradings by NQM/SQM be called for this 1 day Training at Zonal level with FN session for Quality related matters and AN session for all other important issues in Roads, Buildings and Bridges.

Training of AEs in HPPWD • Objective • To train each and every employee from his induction into the department till the end of his career with an endeavour to ensure that the employees get a chance to participate in a properly structured training process to realize their full potential. • To ensure that the officers are kept abreast with the changing technological scenario through refresher training courses to update their knowledge base towards emerging technologies & innovative materials. • Enable HPPWD to implement and execute it’s Human Resources strategic objectives. • Develop skills and competence in the workplace.

Quality Control PMGSY works First Tier: - It includes the supervision of works by the field Engineers up to the level of Zonal Chief Engineers. Second Tier: - The function of 2nd tier independent Quality Management is to improve the quality and effectiveness of the Quality enforcement process. The Govt. has appointed 14 No. State Quality Monitors. 3 are Chief Engineers(Retd) and 11 are Superintending Engineers (Retd). Third tier: - National Rural Infrastructure Development Agency (NRIDA) has further appointed National Quality Monitors for ensuring the Quality Assurance in PMGSY works.
