What ICMM did? (during 2013)

  • Courtesy visit with policy makers at East Java provincial level and in the 3

districts (Tuban, Lumajang and Kediri) had been completely conducted.

  • Followed through with briefing session workshops for DWG members in

each of the 3 intervened districts. These efforts had resulted in obtaining commitment from policy makers to support ICMM program implementation.

  • DWG in 3 districts had been established and officiated by respective

Bupati complemented with issuance of SK Bupati to legalize and sustain DWG activities funded by district budget/APBD beyond ICMM period.

  • Netmap and AFPSmart and FP Cost Projection training had been

conducted for all DWG members in the 3 districts.

  • District work plans implemented with monitoring and evaluation on timely

basis.

  • Programs and activities implemented, monitored and evaluated based on

district work plans.

TUBAN

Current Advocacy Activities:

  • Advocate PT MAICHA NUSANTARA MPGG for FP at the work place
  • Work with PKK, IBI and PLKB to intensify LAPM to potential acceptors
  • Advocate APDESI for FP budget allocation in the village budget (ADD)

Achievements:

  • MOU between DWG, PKK and IBI to promote LAPM
  • MOU between DWG and PT MAICHA NUSANTARA MPGG to promote

LAPM to their 1.887 female employees

  • Contributed to FP District Budget increased from IDR 2.278.776.000 year

2013 to IDR 2.423.0766.000 year 2014.

LUMAJANG

Current Advocacy Activities:

  • Work with PKK, IBI, PLKB and other partners (APTISI, religious

and community leaders) to intensify LAPM to potential acceptors

  • Advocate APDESI for FP budget allocation in the village budget

(ADD) Achievements:

  • MOU between DWG, PKK and IBI to promote LAPM
  • MOU between DWG and 8 universities (members of APTISI) to

support FP program

Current Advocacy Activities:

  • Work with PKK, IBI and PLKB to intensify LAPM to

potential acceptors

  • Advocate APDESI for FP budget allocation in the village

budget (ADD) Achievements:

  • MOU between DWG, PKK and IBI to promote LAPM
  • DWG works with DOH, District BKKBN, BPJS, IDI (doctors

association) and IBI (midwives association) to maximize the impact of Universal Health Coverage (JKN)
