One possible approach would be to start close to a configuration of self-similar vortices and show confinement around the point-vortices 1 2 . better than t Two problems must be dealt with: Instability of the self-similar configurations; Prove the confinement itself. Here we will only deal with confinement issues. We will study a toy model. 12 / 22
