  10. Prevention Health Screening ● Required for all students and staff prior to entering campus Face Coverings ● Required for all staff and student 3rd-8th grades. TK-2 are expected to wear face coverings within their stable cohort to the greatest extent possible Hand Washing ● Will be part of the school routine ● Signs with be hung near every hand washing station Social Distancing ● Will be part of the school culture, taught as part of the routines and procedures of school ● Appropriate signs/markers will be placed around the school to support student and staff success Staff is strongly recommend to be tested for COVID-19 on a monthly basis California Department of Public Health, July 2020 10

Face Coverings Staff and Adults ● Must wear face covering at all times while on campus (except while eating or drinking) Students ● All students must wear face covering during ○ arrival and departure ○ any area outside of the classroom ● Grades 3-8 are required to wear face coverings in the classroom ● Grades TK-2 are expected to wear face coverings to the greatest extent possible Face Coverings ● Cloth or disposable face coverings brought from home are preferable, but school sites will have masks as needed ● Teachers will go over face covering wearing, hygiene and etiquette ● Face Shields will be provided for all staff and can be worn in addition to face coverings California Department of Public Health, July 2020 11

Physical Distancing and Hand Hygiene Physical Distancing ● Practice social distancing- 6 feet distance (best extent possible) ● Markers to indicate social distancing ● Assigned student desks ● Breaks will be taken within same cohorts ● No Large Gatherings (assemblies, field trips) ● No volunteers on campus ● Stagger Arrival and Dismissal Locations Hand Hygiene ● Teach handwashing ○ Reinforce best practices ● Adequate supplies ● Minimize sharing of supplies ● Minimize contact with high touch surfaces 12

COVID-19 Testing and Reporting Cambrian Staff ● Encourage monthly testing at SCCOE or free pop up testing sites ● SCCPHD testing page Covid Symptoms ● Immediate notification required of any symptoms, a positive test or a close contact testing positive ● SCCPHD protocols will be followed by Cambrian School District ● SCCPHD contact tracing Symptomatic Individuals ● Designated location at each site to isolate individuals until they can be sent home or to a medical facility ● Recommend test or provide doctor’s note ● Student and staff can return to school per Santa Clara County Public Health Guidelines California Department of Public Health, July 2020 13

Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Notification Of Positive COVID-19 test ● Parents/ guardians and staff will notify school administration immediately if a student or staff tested positive or if one of their household members or a non-household close contact tested positive for COVID-19 ● Cambrian will notify Santa Clara County Public Health Department immediately ● Cambrian will work with Santa Clara County Public Health Department to ensure appropriate protocols will be followed given the situation, close contact tracing, etc ● Notifications will go out to the school community following directives from the Santa Clara County Public Health Department ● All student and staff personal health will be kept confidential during community notification process California Department of Public Health, July 2020 14

Cleaning, Disinfecting and Physical Environment Classrooms and Common Areas ● Increase regular cleaning of high touch surfaces ○ Staff encouraged to wipe down common surfaces after use (ie, copy machine touch screens, door handles of common areas (microwave, refrigerators, restrooms, and light switches etc) ● Plexiglass barriers will be installed in front offices ● Plexiglass barriers are also available for small group instruction and assessments once in hybrid model ● Each classroom and workspace will have access to spray bottles with cleaning solution, paper towels, gloves, hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes ● Disinfectant supplies kept out of reach of students ● Daily custodial cleaning/disinfecting ○ Staff will continuously target high use areas throughout the day ○ Custodial shifts will overlap at midday to allow for targeted disinfecting during the transition time when in the hybrid model ● Suspend use of drinking fountains and instead encourage the use of reusable water bottles 15

Cleaning, Disinfecting and Physical Environment Ventilation ● Air filters in all rooms have been changed in preparation for when on-campus learning is allowed ○ Filters will be changed out every 3 months ● Ensure shared space has proper airflow ○ Units will be inspected, and repaired as needed, to ensure optimal efficiency and air quality is achieved ○ Doors and windows will be open as necessary to provide additional air-flow ● Use of outdoor space or environments with windows or other cross-ventilation options as much as possible Deep Cleaning in the Event of Exposure ● Classrooms will be closed for 24 hours before deep cleaning and disinfecting ● Misting air scrubbing machines will be available for deep disinfecting California Department of Public Health, July 2020 16
