  • Den Names – a twist on Cherokee and Georgia names
  • 6th grade dens – Landmarks in Georgia (Brasstown Ridge)
  • 7th grade dens – Names of Creeks or Lakes in Georgia (Tugaloo Trail)
  • 8th grade dens – Regions/Islands of Georgia (Cumberland Hill)
  • Students submit ideas for den names! Students submitting the names that are

selected will win a Grizzly shirt.

  • Shirts for each den will be on sale in the fall for field trips, team events and to

promote school and team pride

  • Team/den selection – students will be randomly assigned to dens.
