In this presentation, linking of the simple concept of RC network to classroom teaching and to the concept of research methodology was presented. Starting with the simple case, the presentation took the attendees through various processes of problem identification, mathematical analysis and application of software in support of the theory. Outcomes: 1) After the presentation, a teacher will be able to think various methods of presenting concepts. 2) A budding researcher will be able to understand the concept of problem formulation in his/her field of research 3) A student will be able to understand the importance of strong basic foundation for effective learning
