Santa Caterina offers good skiing for all
- abilities. The beginner’s area helps skiers
progress, while the summit offers rolling red runs in an amazing landscape Santa Caterina itself is a beautiful alpine ski resort, with just a small centre and virtually no traffic. Everything is within easy walking distance and despite its size it has a great selection of hotels, facilities and après ski options.

- Girls will be asked to leave all valuables in their room.
- No mobile phones during the day – they will be handed in and given
- ut for two hours each evening at the discretion of staff. Times may vary
depending on the evening activities.
- School mobile will be switched off from 9.00am – 16.00pm and from
21.00pm – 7.00am will be used only by Mrs Breen in an emergency.

The Skiing
Pupils will be allocated into skiing groups with up to 12 people in a group. Staff are allocated duties that are attached to the ski groups.

Ski Day 1
- 07:30 Breakfast at the hotel - please come dressed to leave for a day's skiing
- 08:15 Head to the Compagnoni Ski Service Hire shop for full ski fit
- 08:30 Ski fit commences
- Ski School timings are subject to confirmation. Timings below are for sample
purposes only until full confirmation is given.
- 09:50 Students to meet instructors at the Santa Caterina learner area
- 10:00 Morning lessons begin
- 12:00 Morning lessons end
- Group to head to the Ristorante Paradiso for hot lunches
- 13:00 Afternoon lessons begin
- 15:00 Afternoon lessons end
- After lessons, store equipment at Compagnoni Hire Shop. Leave all skis and
boots in the storage facility – we advise people to take their helmets back to the hotel.

- Try on shell jacket for size, attach name label for identification to Mrs Breen & Mrs

- Any updates on dietary requirements please let us know tonight.
- Keep us informed up to departure of any changes especially medical issues of any kind
that we need to know about if whilst your daughter is in our care. And we are responsible for her.
- Ski hire clothing will come into school in the last week of term, keep the bag it comes in
to return the first week back after the Easter holiday.
- Shell jackets will be issued in that last week to collect. Please could these be worn for
travelling.
