Immigrant Integration: _____________________________________________________ IDNYC • Largest municipal ID program in the nation • Over 770,000 enrolled • Included partnerships with cultural institutions all around the city • Access to financial institutions
Access to Justice: _____________________________________________________ ActionNYC • $7.9 million investment in immigration legal services- largest in the country • Every immigrant New Yorker who is served by ActionNYC will receive a safe and secure consultation of their immigrant legal options
Access to Healthcare: _____________________________________________________ Direct Access • In 2014 the Mayor created the Task Force for Immigrant Health • They found that 63.9% of undocumented people in NYC have no form of healthcare insurance • The Direct Access program will launch this spring and bring 1000 people coordinated primary care
Strengthening Immigrant Communities: _____________________________________________________ Immigrant Women’s Fellowship • In 2015, MOIA launched its Immigrant Women’s Leadership program • The inaugural class was made of women from all over the city working with different immigrant communities •These women became MOIA’s Immigrant Cabinet, meeting on a monthly basis
