  3. Warm-Up You need to prepare your body ready for PE today. ? What part of your body do you think you will need to warm up?

  5. Skill Different Speeds Jogging Jogging is moving at a steady pace for a longer amount of time. X 2 Keep your head still and looking forwards. Gently move your arms. 3 X Jog at a steady speed – X 1 be able to carry on for a longer time. 4 X Keep your knees low.

  6. Different Speeds Tell your partner how your body feels after jogging.

  8. Move It Jog around the space with your partner. Can you talk while ? you move? Can you carry on ? for 2 minutes without stopping? When would jogging ? be more useful than sprinting?

  9. Skill Different Speeds Sprinting Sprinting is running as fast as you can over a short distance. Keep your head still and X 3 looking forwards. X 1 Pump your arms. Keep running at your fastest speed X 2 from start to finish. Lift your knees up 4 X high.

  12. Move It Try racing against your partner! Would you sprint or jog ? to run your fastest? When would sprinting ? be more useful than jogging or walking?

  13. Changing Gears In this game you will move in 4 different ways: 1 st gear = walk 2 nd gear = jog 3 rd gear = run 4 th gear = sprint Listen - Look – Move – to the instructions at your space in the correct way

  14. Move It Relay! 1 Walk to the first cone. 2 Jog to the second cone. Sprint to the next 3 person in your team. ? Which team will be the fastest?

  15. Cool-Down We need to relax our bodies at the end of PE. Let’s cool down!
