Why now in Bahrain ?

– To increase the professionalism of Nursing in Bahrain – RCSI Bahrain would be the first School of Nursing & Midwifery in the Middle East to form a Chapter – RCSI Bahrain, could through Sigma form meaningful collaborative links with existing Schools of Nursing in the Middle East

Criteria for Membership -3 categories

a. Students in Basic Program:

• Baccalaureate or equivalent

nursing degree which leads to the first professional nursing degree.

• Students should have

completed at least one-half of the required nursing curriculum.

• b. Graduate Program:
• An accredited program of

graduate study in nursing including: master, post-master, doctoral, and post doctoral.

• Students should have

completed a minimum of one- quarter of the required graduate curriculum.
