bullying and conduct

• UWS campuses required to adopt a Code of Conduct as part
• f UPS implementation
• Must be in place by 7/1/13
• Code provides documented standards for professional

conduct

• Helps to meet UWM Core Value of ethical behavior

based on integrity, accountability and responsibility

• Will aid in performance evaluations and disciplinary

matters

• Clearly sets expectations of professional conduct

Process

• Chartered projects as part of the

Chancellor's Best Place to Work initiative

• Teams reviewed existing policies and

standards at UWM, UWS, and other higher education institutions as well as professional

• rganizational codes of ethics

Process

• Draft reviewed by BP2W Coordinating Team

and Sponsors

• Asking all UWM governance groups to

review draft and provide feedback

• Final version will be brought back to groups

for vote
