OAGS Perspective

Support regional and continental data standardization, harmonization

  • f nomenclatures, resource classification and facilitate global projects

in collaboration with RECs. Competent Person. European Federation of Geologists (EFG) offer to provide training platform for African Geoscientists desirous to be come certified or Competent Person. (MOU ?) with OAGS or Geological Society of Africa.  Incorporation of Competence requirements with UNFC -2009 will make more it more acceptable and reliable to both Government and Business Communities.  Value Addition Broader platforms for collaboration (more regional/continental projects & repatriating geodata domiciled in Europe)  Encourage Home grown Initiatives  Advocacy
