Other Guidelines

• All of today’s participants shall follow anti-

trust guidelines

– These guidelines include avoiding discussions of topics or behavior that would result in anti- competitive behavior, including restraint of trade and conspiracy to create unfair or deceptive business practices or discrimination, allocation of production, imposition of boycotts and exclusive dealing arrangements.

Resource Criteria

• MID is seeking between 50 to 150 MW of

Eligible Renewable Energy Resources

• Minimum net output capacity requirement:

– 10 MW to 50 MW

• CEC certifiable and registration with WREGIS
• Environmental Attributes/Renewable Energy

Certificates must be tendered to MID

• Commence delivery: Q1 2021 - Q1 2023

Offers

• PPAs with 10 year term minimum
• Only PCC1 resources
• Scheduling:

– Within MID service territory: MID – Outside of MID service territory: Proposer

Point of Delivery

• California-Oregon Border - Captain Jack
• Within California Independent System Operator
• Palo Verde
• In the District’s service territory
• Proposers will be operationally and financially

responsible to transmit output to the point of delivery

Evaluation

• Pre-screening of Renewable Project

Applications

• Additional information can be requested by MID

at any time

• Evaluative criteria considerations may include,

among others:

– Price – Financial stability of project owner and experience – Scheduling flexibility – Capacity deliverability status/generation profile – Development security/performance security
