Region 1 ROC – April 6 • RVP and Area Director Updates • Where in the world was Dan? • 24 Chapter visits – 24?, ummm…just some highlights • 1 degree in Pasco, • snow & a machine –tooled card holder in Spokane, • pouring rain in Central Valley, • salmon in Fairbanks, • strategic planning in Long Beach, • great dinners all over the place, • The Oval Office in Southern OR, • Voodoo Donuts, • SPY’s, • Tiffany vase, • Darwin’s, • plane problems and ver-go, • some tough calls and decisions… • all great and all great memories and take-away’ s • These visits were all awesome – enjoyed the heck out of them, the hospitality, engagement and recogni-on was appreciated immensely.

  42. Chapter OperaPons Management Tool (COMT) The COMT is the main performance report for chapters. To assist with Chapter planning and evaluate performance, each chapter is required to complete & submit the COMT by June 30, 2017. More info can be found at h0p://www.asse.org/oc/comt/. 2016-2017 Chapter RecogniPon Program Chapters receive points based on the informa-on submi0ed through the COMT tool. Chapter's ac-vi-es and programs throughout the year earn them various levels of recogni-on. The 2016-2017 recogni-on model is as follows: Level Points Range Req'd Bronze 1,000-1,779 Silver 1,780-2,779 Gold 2,880-4,479 Pla-num 4,480-5,505
