Z2 Driving System – Season2017-2018 • Frequently stuck in the early phase (= commissioning phase) • Recovered by warming up the cylinder tentatively. • Monitor and alert features were implemented. • No serious troubles during the Open-Use Observations – FY2018 • Recovered with MELCO – Season 2018-2019 • No troubles until now • Regular check and preventive maintenance works (grease-up etc.) is scheduled every two months. Other Activities toward Simple and Stable Operation • Reducing the number of synthesizers for 1 st LO – One synthesizer is shared with H40 and Z45 receivers. • FOREST – CLNA Bias circuit was replaced for monitoring and controlling. – Some monitors were added. • Distribution of 10 MHz reference signal in the receiver cabin was updated. • Replacement of Computers – # of servers for COSMOS (Control System): 10 à 1 !!
