- Support-A-Soldier is supported entirely by volunteers.
99% + of all funds collected goes toward providing gear and equipment for our troops.
- To Date Support-A-Soldier has sent essential gear to over
200 American Units, Combat Teams and individual men
and women in combat zones around the world.

Support-A-Soldier was founded by Barbara VanHorn,
proud mother of a 2007 Iraqi War Veteran. While deployed, he asked for issue items not able to be readily replenished or for mission specific gear he could not afford.
She complied using money out of her own pocket.
And then there were others in his unit…And then a Special Forces “A” Team …And then... And then…
