Ramapo High School Families

This presentation was launched in the Sophomore Health Classes during the First Marking Period. The administration is aware of the Vaping issue in our high school and district. The goal of the presentation was to give the students and your children as much information as possible to allow them to make better decisions in regards to Vaping and other safety/security and social situations. We ask that you view the presentation with the understanding that both myself and Mr. Charlie Wolff (District Director of Security) added additional dialogue and information during the health classes. Hopefully, you will come away with a better understanding as to the perils of Vaping and other issues that our students and your children face

  • n a daily basis. Working together is the best way to keep our students safe and making good decisions.

A special thank you to Mr. Wolff, for his help in creating this presentation and presenting in both Ramapo and Indian Hills High Schools. Feel free to contact myself or Mr. Wolff if you have any questions. Thank You! Mike Mancino-Assistant Principal (lmancino@rih.org) Charlie Wolff-RIHRHSD Director of Security (cwolff@rih.org)

What We KNOW Is In the Vapor Today

→ This chemical aerosol is not “just” water vapor. → Studies so far show it contains: – Nicotine – Propylene Glycol – Formaldehyde: a by-product given off during vaping and this is a chemical we use to embalm dead people. Not meant to be inhaled.
