Enterprise Holdings’ Brands Sweep 2011 Executive Travel “Leading Edge Awards” for Car Rental  National Car Rental wins Gold, Alamo Rent A Car and Enterprise Rent-A-Car take Silver and Bronze.  Executive Travel surveyed its readers about their business travel experiences in order to identify the winners in 32 categories.  Other winners include Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group as the top-rated hotel chain and Alaska Airlines among domestic carriers for its frequent flyer program. 3

  4. Automotive News names Andrew C. Taylor as one of the “Electrifying 100” driving vehicle electrification  As Chairman and CEO, Taylor is leading Enterprise Holdings in implementing the nation’s largest electric vehicle (EV) rental rollout.  List includes industry leaders, auto manufacturers, as well as key influencers such as President Obama  Taylor spoke at the recent National Summit on Energy Security in Washington, D.C.: “ When it comes to bringing alternative-powered vehicles to the mass market, the car rental industry is a critical link in the transportation value chain.” - Andrew C. SmarterTravel 2011 Editor’s Choice: Emerald Club  For the second year in a row, National’s Emerald Club was named as the winner of the “Best Rental Car Loyalty Program” in the Editor’s Choice Awards at SmarterTravel – the largest online travel resource of independent expert advice for the budget-conscious traveler.  The Emerald Club was recognized for its fast lane system and no-cost enrollment as well as high industry marks for customer service.

Location Update:  In May, National began offering Emerald Aisle service at Jacksonville International Airport (FL) and updated directional signage throughout the location for increased efficiency for customers.  Coming in September: National will open a new, more convenient on-site location at Portland International Airport.

  15. Enterprise wins Budget Travel’s 2011 Reader’s Choice Award  For the second year in a row, Enterprise Rent- A-Car was named by Budget Travel magazine’s 2011 Readers’ Choice Award as their favorite rental car brand for customer service around the globe.

Enterprise.com is named Best Rental Car Website  Keynote Competitive Research announced that Enterprise.com took 1 st place for Best Overall Customer Experience.  Keynote observed and interviewed 2,000 prospective rental car customers through their research study.  The study revealed that when tested by actual users, Enterprise.com offers the strongest Overall Customer Experience, placing first in both Conversion Impact and Customer Satisfaction.

  17. Enterprise launches EV pilot in London  Enterprise is investing in a 12-month electric vehicle (EV) pilot in London involving eight Peugeot iOn cars.  Enterprise has established 11 charging points in key branches across the city as part of London’s Plugged-In Places program.  The pilot is part of Enterprise’s ongoing investment in alternative fuel technologies to help promote sustainable transportation.

Enterprise Holdings joins National Clean Fleets Partnership  In July, the Department of Energy announced Enterprise Holdings is one of six new Corporate Partners to join the National Clean Fleets Partnership – a public-private partnership that helps large companies reduce diesel and gasoline use in their fleets by incorporating electric vehicles, alternative fuels, and fuel-saving measures into their daily operations.  Enterprise offers customers Chevy Volts and Nissan LEAFs in several markets through its neighborhood locations, local business rental programs and WeCar car-sharing.
